hey, how is the Anne Rice book u're reading? I have one of her books but need some encouragement to consider reading it soon!
Yeah!
I dig Anne Rice. I like how she blends history and mythology and how she makes vampires both beautiful and repulsive. She can be err.."blasphemous" at times however and while she's not explicit at all, she seems to be fond of homosexual undertones for some reason.
Which one do you have? Is it one of the vampire chronicles or one of the mayfair witches series? Or is it something else entirely?
The one I have is called Blood Candice, one of the vampire chronicles. Did u read it?
I think you mean blood canticle. It's one of her later books. I haven't read it but I know it's not very popular with her fanbase. I suggest you start with a book from earlier on in the series because this one may turn you off. Interview with a vampire and the vampire Lestat are both great.
ooh..and Blood and Gold (a.k.a. The vampire Marius) is really good, too.
